Savannah River National Lab and Silica-X Honored To Recieve Coveted R&D 100 Award.
Often referred to as the "Oscars of Innovation," the R&D 100 award recognizes the top 100 revolutionary technologies developed each year.
Established in 1963, the R&D 100 Awards have a long history of honoring significant advancements. They are the only awards that focus specifically on new commercial products, technologies, and materials that are available for sale or license. Winning an R&D 100 Award signifies that a technology has been evaluated and deemed revolutionary by industry experts. This year’s esteemed judging panel featured 54 respected industry professionals from across the globe, evaluating hundreds of breakthrough innovations.
The awards highlight innovations that have the potential to impact various industries and improve human lives. Notable Past recipients include major Fortune 500 companies, national laboratories, and smaller innovative firms, showcasing a diverse range of contributors to technological advancement.
The awards not only celebrate individual achievements but also promote a culture of innovation across sectors. Overall, winning an R&D 100 Award is a mark of excellence and recognition in the scientific and technological community, reflecting both innovation and potential market impact.
