November 13, Warsaw, Poland — Silica-X, a pioneering leader in AI and advanced material technology, is honored to announce its participation in the international Rebuild Ukraine Economic Trade Mission, led by the International Trade Administration under the U.S. Department of Commerce. Silica-X is one of only twenty-five U.S.-based companies selected to participate and one of five representing the Washington State Department of Commerce, including CleanTech Alliance, Kane Environmental, Joule Case, Connected Ops, and Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories supporting Ukraine’s critical reconstruction and sustainable energy development efforts.

The event, which will take place from November 13 to 14 in Warsaw, Poland, and is organized in partnership with AHP International Group, will convene industry experts in construction, energy, and technology, government representatives, and key stakeholders who share a commitment to restoring Ukraine’s infrastructure and promoting resilient, sustainable growth in the face of unparalleled challenges. The U.S. delegation will participate in a formal reception at U.S. Ambassador Mark Brezinski’s residence in Warsaw.

Building on the momentum of its recent announcement of a Memorandum of Understanding with Tersa Earth, Silica-X is driving sustainable building practices and resilient infrastructure solutions worldwide. The company’s participation in the Rebuild Ukraine initiative highlights its commitment to impactful, long-term rebuilding efforts through innovative technology. Tersa Earth was recently recognized on Cleantech Group’s Cleantech 50 to Watch list and honored as a Top Innovator in UpLink—World Economic Forum and Prospect Innovation’s Sustainable Mining Challenge.

“We are honored to represent the state of Washington and the USA at this important event,” said Philip Galland, CEO of Silica-X. Rebuild Ukraine offers a unique platform to support Ukraine at this pivotal moment and set a new standard in sustainable construction materials. Our goal is to contribute meaningfully to reconstruction efforts, providing solutions that ensure lasting resilience, efficiency, and sustainability.”

Silica-X will engage with global leaders and stakeholders throughout the event to present innovative solutions such as green cement, high-durability green building materials, and advanced waste-to-energy technologies. By promoting its expertise and commitment to sustainable solutions, Silica-X aims to play an integral role in shaping a sustainable and resilient future for Ukraine and the broader region.

“I look forward to showcasing Washington State’s innovative companies at the International ReBuild Ukraine conference and exhibition in Warsaw, Poland, on November 13 and 14. The delegation will have the opportunity to meet governments, financial institutions, and businesses from across Europe, especially from Ukraine. This is a first-of-its-kind mission, and its success will rely on collaborations and partnerships.  My sincere appreciation of the five Washington companies and a trade association coming along,” said Tammy Lo Deets, MBA, CGBP, Washington State Department of Commerce.

Silica-X will also participate in discussions addressing key issues in modern infrastructure and sustainable development as part of its engagement. These include integrating eco-friendly materials, advanced energy recovery techniques, and circular economy principles into post-conflict rebuilding.
